Ordering repeat prescriptions

How to order prescriptions

We do not take prescription requests over the phone.

You can order your prescriptions by signing up for our online services or using the NHS App.

You can also send us a written request or an email.

Prescription requests must be in writing. We cannot take requests by talking on the phone. This helps us avoid mistakes and make sure your prescription is correct.

When you ask for a prescription, please include:

  • Your full name

  • Your date of birth

  • Your phone number (in case we need to call you)

  • The items you want

  • Where you want to pick up your prescription (pharmacy or surgery)

Please keep your repeat prescription slip (counterfoil). You can leave it at the surgery, send it by post, or fax it.

We also offer online services to order repeat prescriptions. You can sign up through your local pharmacy. Ask at Reception if you want to sign up.

You can also send your request by email. Ask at Reception for the email address.

To avoid mistakes, we do not take prescription requests over the phone.
