Appointments
Routine appointments
For medical advise or appointments please use our patient Triage Service: https://florey.accurx.com/p/H84057
Patients are seen by appointment only.
Booked appointments are available daily at the designated times. These may be accessed by telephone, in person or through online booking services.
We have three categories of appointments both morning and afternoon:
- Book in advance – These appointments can be booked by patients well in advance both in the morning and afternoon, for routine or planned consultations.
- Book the day before – These appointments can be booked the day before the appointment day by patients needing to see the doctor fairly quickly. They cannot be booked any further in advance.
- Book on the day – These appointments are only released on the day to ensure that patients needing to see the Doctor urgently can be fitted in. Please note these will be prioritised for urgent problems.
To book an appointment online you can also use the NHS App, or if you prefer please contact us to be signed up to Patient Access.
Cancelling your appointment
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
Extended Access
We offer late appointments (18:30-20:00) on Monday evenings. Which clinician offers these appointments will change weekly depending on availability.
Home Visits
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:00.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
