Dr Sarajlic Retirement

Dear Patients,

As some of you will know already and others may have guessed, I am retiring at the end of September.  The running of the Surgery will be taken over from 1st of October by Doctor Sammy Modzabi who many of you will have met already as he has been working in the Surgery in a locum capacity for the last twelve months or so.

Our loyal staff headed by Practice Manager Sarah, Nurse Leanne , Pharmacist Esther and the Administration / Reception team led by Donna, Michelle, Hayley, Trudy and Maria will stay in post and continue to take care of the day-to-day running of the Surgery.

Although I am retiring, I will not give up practicing entirely.  I plan to make myself available for locum sessions during the holidays, so I may well see some of you again.

So, time to say GOODBYE!!  Many of you whose Mums I guided through pregnancy are now young adults, indeed some of you are now parents too and I still see your parents and perhaps grandparents.  How time flies!!  I have been a doctor for over 40 years, and have represented Staines Road for almost 20 of them.  You patients have been a great part of my life and I hope that I was part of yours as well.  I was happy when I managed to help and sad when we couldn’t fix the problem.  All in all, it was a great pleasure to look after you all, but now the time has come for me to retire and leave you in the capable hands of Dr Sammy.

I am sad to leave but it is time for me to start the next chapter, perhaps take up golf like doctors did in the old times, or more likely, just to have a rest!

Dr Alma
